She also spent time volunteering at local animal shelters while in her chiropractic program in New York. She currently works on small animals, alongside Kelsey Streef (RVT and certified canine rehabilitation practitioner), at Willow Grove Animal Wellness Centre. Dr. Heath is focused on collaborative care and works alongside other providers to ensure her clients received the best care possible for their animals. She always puts the health and wellbeing of the animal above all else. She then continued her studies at New York Chiropractic College (Now North East College of Health Sciences). She graduated from NYCC with honours and became a doctor of chiropractic medicine. After completing the chiropractic program, she took the specialized post-graduate program at the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre where she became a certified Animal Chiropractor. Dr. Heath has over 20 years of equestrian experience, riding, showing and training horses of all shapes and sizes. She rode and competed in the English discipline, mainly in the hunter ring. She has also assisted in showing in the draft horse community and in the western world.
